Hey there, bookworms and thrill-seekers! I'm Madeline Gobat, your go-to author for YA adventures that'll knock your socks off faster than a Texas tornado.

By day, I'm a social worker. I spent many years working in law enforcement, but I work now in the mental health field.  Yep, you read that right – I've chased down bad guys AND helped people get their lives back on track. Talk about a dynamic duo of careers! Now, I'm using all that juicy real-life experience to cook up stories that'll keep you guessing till the very last page.

When I'm not busy spinning tales of mystery, romance, and fantasy for the young (and young at heart), you can find me battling hurricane-force winds on the Gulf Coast of Texas, decoding the secret language of my dachshund, Sadie (pretty sure she's plotting world domination), and negotiating treaty terms with Oliver, my orange tabby cat overlord (he demands tuna tributes for plot ideas).
